Week 2: Aligning Your Capstone Project with Personal Mission
Reviewing the Introduction and Learning Objectives will orient you to this week’s topics and activities.
In the game of bowling, players can take many actions to increase their chances of receiving a strike. For instance, a player can choose to spend time practicing by joining a league. A player can also choose to devote time to choosing a suitable ball. Alternatively, a player can adjust the placement of his or her feet throughout the approach. Choosing any of these options is sure to help a player earn a higher score, but what would be the likely result if a player chose all three?
As you can see from the above scenario, there is strength in alignment, or the act of bringing multiple components together harmoniously. In other words, finding a way to align your Capstone Project and Personal Mission can afford you a greater chance of achieving the results you so desire.
You will describe leadership differences between a Tyrant versus a Liberator. As well as reflect on the three practices of the Liberator and how you include them in your professional life/career.
Now that you have selected which track of the Capstone Project you will complete, it is time to articulate the very changes you hope your project will achieve. You will also continue conversing with your Affinity Group members, who will provide you with much-needed support throughout the course. Finally, you will continue working on your Portfolio of Visions by using your vision of the end of your life to plan the steps you will take to get there.
